Oakwood Worldwide, the leading, global temporary housing provider, won the coveted Tower of Excellence Award for Most Creative Marketing, Large Provider for the second consecutive year at the Corporate Housing Providers Association’s (CHPA) Annual Conference and Expo in Las Vegas on February 20, 2008.
The CHPA’s Most Creative Marketing Award recognizes an outstanding marketing program or concept that had a measurable impact on the organization. Oakwood’s winning campaign was a comprehensive program to build brand awareness and drive occupancy in its U.S. markets. The campaign was targeted both to businesses and to consumers.

Oakwood’s strategic and innovative marketing campaign delivered more than 250 initiatives through multiple channels, including local and national advertising, digital postcards, direct mailers, in-unit collateral, surveys, press releases and media outreach, referral cards and sales tools, and online marketing tactics such as pay-per-click and individual property promotions on www.oakwood.com.
In addition, Oakwood piloted an off-season television ad campaign in two of the nation’s largest markets, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., which marked the company’s first-ever television commercials. The ad campaign featured Oakwood’s fully-furnished apartments, while highlighting their benefits, including more space, amenities and better value than hotels.
