Henderson Global Investors, the independent asset management firm, announced the appointment of Seb Beloe to head the firm’s Sustainable and Responsible Investment research function. Mr. Beloe joins a seven-member team dedicated to investing in sustainable and responsible companies. He’s based in London, and reports to George Latham, chief of Henderson’s Sustainable and Responsible funds.
Prior to joining Henderson, Mr. Beloe served as Vice President – Research and Advocacy with SustainAbility LTD UK. In this role he was responsible for the overall direction and content of research and advocacy activities, and spent nine years based in London and New York.
In his new role, Mr. Beloe will lead the identification and analysis of critical sustainability and responsibility issues with investment relevance for Henderson’s funds. In addition, he will guide and oversee the research team’s communication and engagement with companies, the investment community, government and civil society to enhance and promote understanding of sustainability and corporate responsibility.

Henderson Joins Social Investment Forum
Simultaneously Henderson announced that it has agreed to join The Social Investment Forum (www.socialinvest.org), the leading US association for members of the socially and environmentally responsible investing community. SIF’s membership includes more than 500 social investment practitioners and institutions.
