GolfTEC Tees up First of Eight Seattle-Area High-Tech Golf Improvement Centers
Publish Date : 1/11/2008 4:22:00 AM   Source : Culture and Community News

Puget Sound golfers have a new and high-tech way to improve their game as GolfTEC rolls out the first of eight planned area GolfTEC improvement centers. The first center is located at 255 Yale Street (across the street from REI). This is the first of eight regional locations expected to open in the next three years. As part of its commitment to the community, GolfTEC will donate 5 percent of all revenue during the first month of operations to The First Tee of Greater Seattle, a non-profit whose mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

Combining technology with personal coaching, GolfTEC is the leading national chain of golf improvement facilities, providing golfers of all skill levels the opportunity to use digital video, impact analysis, biofeedback technology and motion-evaluation computers to develop their swing. Certified personal coaches provide all instruction in private, indoor bays.

“The golf market in the Puget Sound Region is incredibly strong,” said Brett Allen, owner of Jet City Golf, the Washington State franchise holder for GolfTEC. “Now, there’s a place to go year-round to work on your swing and improve your game.”

Unlike other options that limit instruction to a few lessons or encourage a reliance on self-teaching, GolfTEC’s path to improvement emphasizes progress, consistency, and on-course results. Developed from a database of over 150 Tour players, a client’s swing is created to produce consistent ball-striking results.

This, under the guidance and encouragement of a Certified Personal Coach with PGA credentials. Built on a foundation of skilled instruction and advanced technology, the Improvement Center accurately portrays itself as the “Future of Golf.” Indoor, climate-controlled conditions allow year-round instruction in a safe, comfortable environment. The unique ability to review lessons on a personal website any time further enhances each client’s learning process.

In addition to core instruction around a client’s full swing, GolfTEC also works on short game and putting improvement as key components of its total approach to personal golf results. Club fitting is another element valued by clients nationwide and offered by the GolfTEC Improvement Center. A visit to golftec.com provides full details on the process, services, and results achieved by clients throughout the United States.

The improvement center is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. GolfTEC members simply call or email to secure a lesson with one of the GolfTEC pros. Pricing for a full swing evaluation and introductory lesson begins at $165. There are package discounts and other membership levels available. More information is available on the website at http://www.golftec.com/learningcenters/seattle_golf_lesson.html.
