Is your heart breaking? Are you feeling grief so intense it takes your breath away? Does it seem like there is no end to what you are going through? Do you wonder if God is really there for you during this time? She Will Not Be Comforted ($9.99, paperback, 978-1-60477-404-7) addresses these questions and more. In this book, author Faith Storms Kremer, a licensed certified social worker, documents her process through a painful divorce. It is a journey through loss, pain, grief, and depression to healing and peace. It shows God's great love and mercy while also discussing normal human psychological processes of loss, pain and healing. Scripture and prayers are woven through the text for teaching, encouragement and edification.
Raised in a Christian home, Kremer came to know God at the tender age of five. Ever since then, she has been passionate about God and helping others heal. That is the most important purpose she hopes to achieve in She Will Not Be Comforted: "If a few more people, especially Christians, can find hope and healing, my purpose will be met," the author says. "There is no better feeling than to see and be a part of healing and transformation in one of God's children. I am honored and humbled to be a part of [their healing process."
Kremer has worked with a wide range of people and issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, loss, past and current trauma, fears, addictions and family problems. "These struggles are what so many Christians go through, yet so often Christians feel bad when they are down, depressed or struggling emotionally or spiritually," she says. "I want the Christian community to know my journey as an example of the usual process and how someone can move through it and come out on the other side."
Xulon Press, a part of Salem Communications Corporation, is the world's largest Christian publisher, with more than 4,000 titles published to date. Retailers may order She Will Not Be Comforted through Ingram Book Company and/or Spring Arbor Book Distributors.
