Applied Energetics, Inc., (Nasdaq:AERG) the Guided Energy Company, today announced that retired US Marine Corps Lieutenant General Emil “Buck” Bedard has joined the company’s Advisory Board.
A highly decorated officer, General Bedard retired from the U.S. Marine Corps in 2003 after 37 years of active duty service. In his career General Bedard has commanded troops in operations in Viet Nam, Iraq (Desert Storm), and Somalia, and was the Commander of the II Marine Expeditionary Force from 1999-2000. His last post was that of Deputy Commandant for Plans, Policies, and Operations based in Washington DC, one of the highest ranking positions within the Marine Corps.
Regarding the addition of General Bedard to the Advisory Board, Dana Marshall, Chairman, CEO and President of Applied Energetics, commented, “We are pleased and honored to have General Bedard join the our leadership team.
