AppGate Receives Prestigious First Prize at "Cut the Wire Awards" Gala in Sweden
Publish Date : 11/29/2007 6:39:00 AM Source : Europe News OnlyPunjab.com
The "Cut The Wire Awards" prize is handed out by TelecomCity in cooperation with Computer Sweden (IDG) and is rewarded to the three companies that have implemented one or more mobile services that have improved competitiveness as a part of a customer offering, or enhanced internal efficiency. The jury consists of representatives from different parts of the telecom industry.
"We are very proud to receive such a prestigious prize, and we are extremely happy that the jury recognized Telenor Secure Data Access as the best mobile business application" says Goran Marby, CEO of AppGate.
Telenor Secure Data Access is built around the AppGate solution which makes it possible to secure all types of communication between the mobile device and the office. "Telenor Secure Data Access" connects to applications such as SAP, Citrix and other mobile applications in a fully secure way without the need for modifications of applications or "middleware". With granular levels of access control it becomes possible to connect a user not just to a server but to specific information, even down to certain web pages. The AppGate Mobile solution also supports Jabber based Instant Messaging clients and provides a secure instant messaging system for mobile users 'out of the box'. |
