The University of Central Florida (UCF) will play host to the championship game by achieving the best C-USA record of 7-1. The visiting team will be the Golden Hurricanes of Tulsa with a conference record of 6-2.
UCF enters the game on a six-game winning streak and are 9-3 overall, one win shy of tying the school record of 10, set in 1990. Tulsa has won five in a row and is also 9-3, one win away from its highest win total since 1982. Back on October 20, the two teams met in Orlando with UCF prevailing, 44-23, in front of a sellout crowd of 45,510.
