Cubist Pharmaceuticals to Present at February Investor Conferences

Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBST) today announced that David McGirr, SVP and CFO, will present on Tuesday, February 5th, at 8:00 A.M. ET, at the Merrill Lynch Global Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology & Medical Device Conference being held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City. On Wednesday, February 13th, at 9:30 A.M. ET, at the BioCEO and Investor Conference 2007, Praveen Tipirneni, M.D., VP, Business Development, will be participating in the panel discussion, Antibiotics: "Super Drugs Against Super Bugs” taking place at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. On Friday, February 15th, at 9:15 A.M. ET, Jeff Alder, Ph.D.,VP, Drug Discovery and Evaluation, will present a featured session on “Clinical Development of Daptomycin: Lessons Learned” at the R&D Directions’ Drug Development Summit being held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Amelia Island, Florida. The presentations and panels will include discussion of the company’s business activities, financial outlook, and current news.
