Juice Fasting Diets - Several Great Tips To Help Detox Your Body
Publish Date : 2/15/2008 8:46:00 AM Source : Health News Onlypunjab.com
Currently there are a lot of diets out there that individuals have tried or are on. If you are looking for a new diet to try you may find success with the juice fasting and detox diet, however there are many concerns with this diet that you should take into account before you try it. First any diet should not be entered into without consulting your nutritionist or doctor. Diets can have long term adverse affects if they are not done properly and if you already have health issues. The juice fasting diet is one that can have severe detrimental effects especially for those who are not used to dieting.
Let us first look at what juice fasting does. It is where you will drink online vegetable or fruit juice for a short period of time. The juice has natural vitamins and antioxidants the will clean out your system. However you will not be eating any food. You will be drinking juice and water only for a few days. This can be extremely harmful to your body. Our bodies need to have a certain amount of proteins in a day in order to subsist. In fact most individuals without protein will feel faint, shaky, tired, and sick.
Other cautions that I would mention is that if you do something in excess you are more likely to gain an allergy to that food or drink. Juice is very acidic and it will cause severe issues internally if that is all you are taking. In fact the process, if you do decide to undergo juice fasting to detox your body you need to do so on a day off from work. The fluid is extremely acidic and therefore you will feel stomach pain if you are sensitive to acid as well as develop diarrhea after too many days on the diet. The reason for this is that you are flushing out the toxins in your system. It can be painful and if you already have low blood sugar, diabetes, or other health related issues you should not undertake this diet.
