The proposed two-story addition to the North Colorado Therapy Center will include an accessible primary care community clinic designed specifically to comfortably provide needed medical services to people with moderate to severe physical disabilities and/or acquired brain injuries. Among other things, the proposed clinic will administer basic tests that will determine if a patient is in need of seeing a specialist, thereby efficiently utilizing the time and skills of the specialists available in the community. The addition will also make innovative use of technology to foster collaboration with existing local hospitals and to safely and efficiently move patients within the facility.
