The Entrepreneurial Resources Group (ERG), a global professional services firm headquartered in Boston, announced today that Ellen B. Richstone has returned to ERG as its non-executive Chairman. The former executive with Data General Corporation and Polaroid will offer clients her expertise in a wide range of international areas.

As a senior executive with strong executive and financial leadership, her extensive technology industry background will benefit the ERG client base. Her strengths include working with public and private companies in the areas of global strategy, M&A integration, international expansion, capital expansion, SOX, and crisis management in both growth and turnaround companies.

Ms. Richstone’s industry experience includes: Telecom, Semiconductor, Computer-Hardware and Software, Supply Chain Management, Aerospace and Consumer Products. She recently retired from Sonus Networks, a leading global provider of wireless and wireline voice over IP (VoIP).
Prior to Sonus, she was the president and CEO of ERG and served as CFO for several public technology corporations from $100M to $2.4B in revenue, including Brooks Automation, Augat, Rohr Aerospace, and Honeywell Bull.
Richstone has held executive positions with Data General Corporation and Polaroid Corporation. She was on the Board of American Power Conversion Company as the financial expert until its sale in 2007 and is currently the Chairman of the Audit Committee and board member for Blue Shift Technologies.
Richstone holds a bachelor's degree from Scripps College. She earned a master's degree of international affairs and a master's degree of law and diplomacy with a specialty in international business law from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. She also holds an advanced professional certificate in finance from the New York University's Stern School of Business.
