Certeon, the industry’s only vendor to accelerate mission-critical applications securely and effectively, announced today that Advaiya, Inc. has selected the Certeon S-Series Application Acceleration Appliances to maximize the response time of end users accessing mission-critical applications over the WAN. Advaiya is a consulting firm that facilitates the rollout and adoption of emerging technology products and solutions with partners such as Microsoft.
Advaiya was attempting to centralize IT resources into its Bellevue, WA headquarters to reduce the overhead of managing duplicate IT resources in remote locations. The centralization project generated several response-time challenges since Advaiya’s employees need to access Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) and Microsoft Project Server from its office in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India over the WAN. All of Advaiya’s project management and business planning is done through these applications. The Microsoft applications are mission critical to Advaiya’s forecasting and time-management operations.
The latency issues induced by the WAN between Advaiya’s U.S. and India sites made it impossible to centralize IT systems in its Bellevue, WA headquarters. After considering several solutions, Advaiya selected Certeon based on the ease of use and the unique response time acceleration offered by the S-Series and its Application Acceleration Blueprints for MOSS and Office applications. The Certeon’s S-Series appliances enabled Advaiya to maintain a centralized IT infrastructure and provide services to its users, without significant response time delays. The S-Series gave Advaiya dramatic improvements in application access, file downloads and Web page renderings over the WAN, improving performance by more than 90%.
