Users can search company scores for free by entering a trading symbol or name at www.InvestorAwarenessIndex.com. Public companies may request a free score by registering and providing answers to The Index's Questionnaire.    

Each company's score (0-to-10) results from the combined weighting of various activities and initiatives in which a company is engaged. A higher score indicates to investors that a company is engaged in many or most of the awareness enhancing activities that comprise The Index's scoring. A lower score conveys that a company is involved in only a few of the activities. Investors can use the ratings as an investment tool to help support investment decisions.

The Index takes into account numerous activities and initiatives that can be used to create awareness of a company and its stock, such as investor relations representation by an IR firm and/or company employee whose specific role is to perform investor outreach and other investor relations activities, Web 2.0 initiatives that enhance company content distribution, and media coverage, among many others. The Investor Awareness Index was founded on the fact that investor awareness is critically important to a public company's stock, as awareness can promote understanding of a company, lead to more potential investors, help generate liquidity, and create a healthier stock.
