CODA Group, the finance software specialist, today announced that All Saints Retail Ltd has signed a contract to implement its Dream accounting software.

High street urban retailer, All Saints, undertook an extensive software evaluation before selecting Dream over rival solutions from Open Accounts and Microsoft Dynamics. It required accounting software that would deliver centralised financial control and visibility from one central system.

"We needed a flexible system that will allow us to migrate data from our other systems significantly reducing the amount of manual input that is currently required. By the use of purchase orders we aim to speed up and improve the current invoice matching requirements," said Sally Lewis, financial controller, All Saints. "Although Dream is a stand-alone accounting system, it will fit easily into our existing IT infrastructure and work with our other systems. Transaction data from our invoicing systems can easily be imported into Dream and before the system is updated, the information is checked for integrity so we will have complete confidence in the numbers being reported."

All Saints' finance team particularly liked Dream's User Defined Input (UDI) feature. This allows input screens to be defined according to business requirements. UDI ensures quick familiarity with the system and minimises training needs. It lets users continue to use existing procedures and conventions as screens can match the forms or the documents that are already part of a company's day-to-day processes.

All Saints has also purchased licenses for the Dream add-on tool DreamView which extends Dream's in-built browsing and reporting functionality, by providing direct, seamless access to external reporting products so users can drill down to interrogate their data and prepare custom reports.
