In the launch phase, La Vella Mobile Radio can already support upwards of 80% of the world's phones with its Mobile Java and Windows Mobile applications. Every user can access this preset list of digital radio stations from any carrier, in any part of the world, on virtually any handset.
Consumers are looking for a phone to do much more than just talk into. According to Arbitron's Mobile Audio Study in 2007, half of all mobile users also use their handset for non voice activities. The study also forecasts that U.S. wireless music services will have over 50 million users and generate more than 50 billion dollars in revenue in 2010.
