Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., Telecommunication Systems Division (Toshiba — www.telecom.toshiba.com) today announced Network eManager® Software Release 5.10, delivering Web-based, multi-site administration for Toshiba Strata® CIX™ IP communication systems. It is available now through Toshiba’s network of Authorized Dealers.
Toshiba’s Network eManager software gives the administrator of Toshiba Strata CIX IP communication systems the ability to remotely manage multiple systems from anywhere there’s Internet access,” said Eric Abing, product manager at Toshiba’s Telecommunication Systems Division. “This saves time and travel expense by being able to connect to any and all systems in the network and make system-wide changes from a single location over the Web.”
Network eManager is a software program that provides comprehensive network management tools for Toshiba’s family of Strata CIX IP communication systems, including the Strata CTX®28, CIX40, CIX100, CIX200, and CIX670.
Network eManager’s new features include:
Simultaneous System-wide Back-ups — Simultaneous system-wide back-ups save valuable time by eliminating the need to back-up each system individually. Whether an enterprise has 10 or 1,000 systems, system-wide back-ups make administration faster and easier.
Simultaneous System Changes — Simultaneous changes to all the systems, regardless of the type of CIX or location, ensure data consistency across all systems. By propagating all the changes at the same time, the administrator can be confident that all of the CIX systems are synchronized.
Simultaneous Log-in — The system administrator can now be logged into all systems or any combination of systems at the same time. Previously, the administrator had to log into each system individually and had to log out before going into the next system. Now, the system administrator can be logged into some or all of the systems at the same time.
Simultaneous Upgrades — System administrators can simultaneously push out new software to all their Strata CIX systems, eliminating the need to individually upgrade software on their systems, making it faster, easier and more consistent across the entire network.
“Network eManager demonstrates Toshiba’s commitment to ease of installation and seamless multi-site administration,” Abing said. “For multi-site Toshiba National Account customers, the new Network eManager features will help their system administrators save time and travel costs while improving efficiency, consistency and increased remote access to their stores or branch offices.”
