DataFlux, a leading provider of data quality and data integration solutions, announced today that it has been granted a patent for its “computer-implemented system and method for managing data integrity validation rules.” The patent covers a technology platform employed by DataFlux to standardize, match and validate data through user-generated rules.
The patent was awarded to Tony Fisher and Scott Gidley (DataFlux CEO and CTO, respectively) as well as DataFlux lead developers Brian Rineer and Brent Jackson. The patent number for the company’s data solution is US 7,318,162, given on January 8, 2008.
“DataFlux has long been providing innovative software, such as developing the industry’s first completely integrated data profiling and data quality platform,” said Fisher. “This patent affirms that we have a unique technology platform that can empower customers to build a single framework to analyze, improve and control the quality of corporate information.”
DataFlux has won several awards for its core technology, including being named the market winner in data quality in CRM magazine for three consecutive years, and winning the first annual Innovative Solution Award for data integration from DM Review magazine alongside customer RLPTechnologies.
