(Konica Minolta), a leading provider of imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today announced the one-year anniversary of its acquisition of the Production Services Group (PSG), an Akron, Ohio-based production print services provider. PSG, part of Konica Minolta’s Direct Sales Channel, offers premier production print services through expansion of its custom tailored print solution offerings.
PSG, which began in 1997 with a focus on providing the commercial print industry a service option for Xerox® DocuTech™ and Kodak® Digimaster™ products, was acquired by Konica Minolta in 2006, allowing it to bring to the market a full array of solutions that cover a wide scale of deployments. With a primary focus on service, PSG guarantees customers receive the correct product mix for each specific organizational environment. In addition to placing its award-winning line of bizhub PRO™ production print systems, Konica Minolta has given PSG a wealth of corporate resources, enabling it to maximize the capabilities of its digital imaging systems and further expand its print services business.
