Long Live Crime Records Welcomes Management Reorganization and Signs Hot New Group the Bangkok Five
Publish Date : 12/7/2007 5:32:00 AM   Source : South Asia News OnlyPunjab.com

Founder and CEO of Long Live Crime Records, Susan Ferris welcomes the change in management with the departure of Thom King, who joined the label only a year ago. Susan Ferris agreed their styles were different and that irreconcilable difference is a fair description. Ferris also says, "Thom and I didn't agree on many things which is why I asked him to leave, but I do wish him the best in his next endeavor." The label, founded in 2003, is strong and growing, most recently with its addition of Bangkok Five, an rock band who is set to release their much anticipated album "We Love What Kills Us" this coming spring.

Long Live Crime Records will continue to service a multitude of different genres of music ranging from punk to R&B, offering a little something for everyone. "Music So Good It's Criminal!" is the best way to describe the independent label that is booming with a roster of some of the most diverse and in-your-face acts out today.

Long Live Crime Records hosts an assorted array of talent including the "always in the headlines" Shar Jackson, recent winner of MTV's hit show, Celebrity Rap Super Star. The rapping/singing/acting sensation has recently dropped her first single "Let it Blow" with help from uber producer, Mr. Collie Park. Additional artist signed to the label include Frankie Doll, a singer form the O.C. who adds a "punk" flair to the label, exuding a true realness through her hard hitting music. She is currently in the works to do a video directed by James Merendino. J.Flexx, who spent years as a writer for Dr. Dre during his tenure at Death Row Records, now resides with Long Live Crime as he pushes his much anticipated debut album. And the most recent addition, Bangkok Five, promise to bring the newest sound to hit rock music with the album "We Love What Kills Us" due out Spring of 08'. Susan Ferris has had a captivating ear for talent and has brought phenomenal acts to the table and will continue to vouch for solid talent in the industry for a long time to come.

Long Live Crime Records has seen a small change in management but will continue to run business as usual. Founder and CEO, Susan Ferris comments "Change brings growth and new opportunities, Long Live Crime Records is poised to continue on its path of growth in developing new artists."
