New Green Team Ad Campaign Supports Lindblad Expedition Efforts to Increase Funding for Conservation at Company’s Travel Destinations
Publish Date : 12/19/2007 8:18:00 AM   Source : American Local News Onlypunjab.com

Green Team, an advertising and communications agency focused on reaching and influencing the Awakening Consumer, has launched a campaign to support the Lindblad Expeditions’Travel Now, For the Future campaign, a new initiative designed to drive awareness of and funding towards conservation efforts in the Galapagos Islands, Baja California and Central America.

Lindblad will donate $250 per passenger to local conservation initiatives for bookings between November 20 and January 31. Green Team, the Lindblad communications and advertising partner, designed and executed a campaign with the goal of reaching and influencing travelers who want to not only explore new places but give something back at the same time.

The advertising campaign developed by Green Team in support of the campaign includes full page print ad that ran in The New York Times on November 27th. Green Team has also designed a three-page spread that will run in Conde Nast Traveler in January and banners to be used as part of the online component of the campaign. The artwork used in the campaign was generated on actual Lindblad Expeditions.

“Lindblad has always been committed to not only exploring and discovering the world, but also to doing its part to preserve and protect these phenomenal destinations.” said Hugh Hough, President of Green Team. “We are grateful to have the opportunity to work with such a progressive travel company and are very proud of our recent work in support of the Travel Now For The Future campaign.”
