In the fall of 2006 the CollaborateMD staff of ten moved into their current 3,000 square-foot office space expecting it to be adequate through 2008. Only 14 months later, CollaborateMD has added 1,000 providers to their medical billing solution and filled up their space with a staff of 17. The company expects to add up to eight employees in 2008 with plans to accommodate an additional 1,500 medical providers.

“The acceptance of our user-friendly, Web-based medical billing software has really taken off and we are all very excited about it,” stated Douglas Kegler, president of CollaborateMD. “Because our medical billing software is so easy to learn and use, our support department of eight can handle 350 providers per person. With that said, the additional space allows our company to handle the growth of another several thousand providers and continue the quality support of new and existing clients.”

CollaborateMD is utilizing existing cash and profits to fund their expansion plans.
