Birmingham brings 16 years of marketing experience to DeVry University, having most recently served as Vice President of Marketing for the Chicago Tribune, overseeing all internal and external communications, sponsorships, research, advertising and brand development. Birmingham also held marketing positions with increased responsibilities at Discover Financial Services, Foote Cone & Belding, and Leo Burnett.

Birmingham received his bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Ohio, and holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
