DeVry University Names Chief Marketing Officer

DeVry University, one of North America’s largest degree-granting higher education institutions for business, healthcare technology, technology, and management education, today named John Birmingham as its Chief Marketing Officer. Birmingham will oversee the marketing, brand management, public relations and program marketing functions for DeVry University and its Keller Graduate School of Management.
Birmingham brings 16 years of marketing experience to DeVry University, having most recently served as Vice President of Marketing for the Chicago Tribune, overseeing all internal and external communications, sponsorships, research, advertising and brand development. Birmingham also held marketing positions with increased responsibilities at Discover Financial Services, Foote Cone & Belding, and Leo Burnett.

Pauldine, president, DeVry University. “John brings extensive experience with proven success in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies. Birmingham received his bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Ohio, and holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
