Gear6 Launches ‘Accelerate’ Channel Partner Program
Publish Date : 2/26/2008 6:57:00 AM Source : Technology News Onlypunjab.com
Gear6, accelerating I/O for real time application performance, today announced the launch of its Accelerate Partner Program (APP), a new channel initiative that has already attracted 11 charter partners covering North America. Each APP partner has extensive data center expertise delivering best-in-class solutions for accelerated application performance and optimized storage deployments that now include Gear6 CACHEfx appliances. The APP offers channel partners exceptional revenue opportunities by helping their customers understand, improve, and manage application performance in business critical data centers. By adding groundbreaking products from Gear6 to their solutions portfolios, charter partners are ideally positioned to solve I/O bottlenecks commonly found in clustered computing, server virtualization, database, and web-scale environments.
The APP partners include: Bedrock Technology Partners, Cambridge Computer, Dallas Digital Services, Future Computing Solutions, Groupware Technology, Incentra Solutions, Insight Investments, Integrated Storage Consulting Services, InterVision, Trace3, and WebHouse.
“Our Accelerate Partner Program addresses many of our partners’ biggest challenges — differentiating application performance with storage acceleration products and services, and the ability to drive ongoing value and insight to customers beyond the original sale,” said Brian Gladden, vice president of sales at Gear6. “By bringing a unique and compelling product to market, Accelerate Partners can offer customers dramatic application performance improvements and significantly reduce storage over-provisioning.”
Accelerate Partner Program Overview Unique product offering for compelling differentiation – CACHEfx appliances from Gear6 represent a new and unique channel product offering with substantial market demand for scalable, network-centric memory-based caching solutions. Complementary offering to traditional and clustered NAS systems – CACHEfx enhances all standards-based NAS/NFS solutions including support for clustered file systems, helping partners drive additional sales of existing product offerings. Pre-sales and professional services opportunities – Using tools such as NEMo, an I/O profiling tool from Gear6, partners can help their customers quickly and easily understand application behavior, pinpoint I/O bottlenecks, and propose immediate solutions for performance improvement using scalable caching appliances. Deal exclusivity and no channel conflict – The Accelerate Partner Program includes a deal registration option, guaranteeing partners an exclusive discount on approved registered deals. Comprehensive co-branded marketing support – Gear6 provides partners access to a wide library of material for online and offline presentations and seminars, technical training, and partner sales-training.
“Showcasing centralized caching solutions to customers has opened doors for us to new and existing accounts, allowing us to further enhance our broad NAS expertise,” said Ben Myren, CTO of Integrated Storage Consulting Services, Inc. “CACHEfx appliances enable us to build solutions that carry NAS solutions further in to the enterprise to tackle performance intensive applications with solutions delivering far greater simplicity and reduced overall costs.”
