Highlights of the room include CareAware™, CareAware MDBus™, RxStation™, the CareAware myStation™, Cerner Millennium® solutions and many others. The booth includes four vignettes that will show how technology can impact care in the following settings:
Inpatient focuses on the workflow of the high-acuity clinician as found in a medical-surgical or an intensive care unit. In this care venue, the Cerner Smart Room streamlines complex devices, technologies and the EMR so the clinician can focus on the patient.
Outpatient focuses on workflow efficiencies achieved in a clinic setting. This Smart Room will focus on streamlining the ambulatory process to maximize efficiency and reduce costs for the provider and patient.
Patient emphasizes the role of the patient in the care process and, ultimately, to improving his or her health outcome. Solutions in the patient-focused Smart Room will focus on technology and workflow solutions that increase satisfaction and improve clinical results.
Information Technology is the IT command center dedicated to the impact of infrastructure to integrate and manage complex healthcare devices, technologies and the EMR to streamline processes, reduce cost and improve outcomes.
