Cellphonist Inc. today announced the launch of its free web site www.cellphonist.com where U.S. cell phone users can watch short videos on how to use features and services available on phones by Motorola, Nokia, LG, Samsung and others with AT&T and Verizon Wireless.

There are also many exciting services becoming available on your cell phone, like mobile banking, direct-to-phone store discount coupons and transit ticket payment but finding out how to actually do these things is more than half the battle. Each video covers a specific topic -- the basics are there, like making a call or sending a text message, and more advanced uses are also demonstrated, such as using Google to get the latest weather or flight information. Videos are short so viewers can quickly apply what they've learned. In addition to the how-to videos tailored to exact phone models, users can also see relevant news and tips without cumbersome technical jargon.

No sign-up is required and users don't have to provide their phone numbers. Videos for phones with Sprint and T-Mobile will follow soon. Videos are added regularly as new phone models come to market and as additional mobile services become available for existing phones.
