This success is attributed to the launch of Carbon Model Studio that has helped increase Carbon’s customer base by two new customers each month and strengthened key partnerships with ARM and CoWare®. Carbon Model Studio has been named a finalist in the System-Level Design Tools category of this year’s DesignVision Awards.

Funding will be used to continue building momentum and hiring experienced engineers to help round out Carbon’s product offerings. Investors include Commonwealth Capital, Flagship Ventures and Matrix Partners, all of Massachusetts.

Additionally, Carbon will move to new corporate headquarters in Acton, Mass., in late January to support its growing staff.
