Electronic Mecca Expands Catalog with iPods, Digital Cameras and Bluetooth
Publish Date : 3/10/2008 4:32:00 AM Source : Technology News Onlypunjab.com
Thomas Parr of www.ElectronicMecca.com has expanded into a wider array of electronics with new products from iPod, Bluetooth and digital camera items. The still-new web store carries a vast catalog of electronic goods, including plasma televisions, GPS and BluRay DVD players, and is still working toward an even larger catalog of items.
"I've always loved electronic products, from the VCR to the DVD to the old hi-fi stereo stuff," explains Thomas. "They've always intrigued me, and I thought I might as well do something that I really enjoy." Thomas frequently shares his thoughts on the electronics industry on his blog at www.ElectronicMecca.net, which also serves as an informational resource for his store. "It expresses my passion for electronics, and it also expresses my past business experience. The web site sales are new to me, but sales itself is not."
Thomas says that his next area of expansion will be refurbished products. "You can really get a good buy with refurbished equipment," he explains. "I'm in search of some good suppliers for that. Refurbished units are oftentimes items that were mistakenly purchased or had something very minor wrong with them, and if you purchase a warranty along with them, oftentimes you're better off than buying a new product."
The current additions to the store come with a sale on iPod merchandise, with savings from 10 percent to 20 percent off their normal retail price.
