CONEXIS, a division of The Word & Brown Companies and the national leader in quality in the complex areas of COBRA/HIPAA, Flexible Benefits, Direct Bill and other benefit administration services, announced perfect fourth quarter performance results, meeting all 95 standards for the period and 333 of 334 standards for calendar year 2007
CONEXIS introduced the industry’s first and only performance standards and guarantees program for all clients, regardless of company size. The performance standards established by CONEXIS provide defined, measurable service standards for critical service metrics such as average speed to answer, claims processing, and payment postings. Each quarter, CONEXIS is at risk for losing more than $1 million in client fees if it does not meet or exceed these established service benchmarks. In the past two years, CONEXIS has improved its overall performance rating from an already impressive 95.7 percent in 2005 to 99.7 percent in 2007.
“We’re very proud of our continuous improvement over the last two years,” said Michael Close, President of CONEXIS. “Our performance results and our success are a direct result of our employees’ dedication to continuously improve the quality of the service they provide to our clients and participants.”
To ensure performance results are measured and reported accurately, CONEXIS has a dedicated department monitoring standards of performance versus actual results on a daily basis. The Quality, Performance and Risk Management Department is an independent internal audit team that monitors and reports on operational performance. All members of the department hold American Society of Quality designations, including Certified Quality Improvement Associates, as well as an ISO 9001-2000 Internal Quality System Auditor. This department reports directly to the Chief Compliance Officer of CONEXIS.
“The performance standards and guarantees we offer give our business partners and employer clients a scorecard on our performance and the confidence to partner with us for their benefits administration needs,” Close said.
