Broadband Forum Completes Two Years
Publish Date : 10/26/2007 8:33:00 AM Source : South Asia News Onlypunjab.com
The India broadband forum was launched back in October 2005 and this month it has completed its first two years. To celebrate the completion of second year the management has launched a broadband blog to compliment the forum, which has been serving millions of visitors every year. The India broadband site is now getting more then 5000 unique visitors every day and is increasing by the day which has resulted into us buying our own server in the United states which will now take care of the ever increasing load of visitors which will obviously increase with the ever increasing broadband penetration in India.
Broadband forum features separate sections for Airtel broadband, which has emerged as our members most preferred isp in India although there is still a lot of room for improvement. Bsnl broadband has been doing well in some areas. India broadband forum has a separate forum for isp's like bsnl broadband, tata indicom and sify broadband which brings all the major brands on one single platform and also helps users compare different service providers.
Indiabroadband.net team is planning to add sections that will relate to the television and entertainment industry, which will let members, discuss about tata sky, dish TV and other direct to home television providers. The forum has been doing very well on the major search engines including Google where it ranks number two for almost all the isp names in India which speaks of how much the blogosphere loves the forum as they keep linking to the new posts every day which indirectly pushes the forum up in search engine rankings bringing in more members every day which until now has been about 30-plus every day.
Broadband forum does not have a section about wimax so we have launched a separate Reliance wimax forum which solely concentrates on wimax which is going to be the next big thing after mobile phones and according to some estimates India will have more then 21 million wimax connections by 2014 and 2008 is going to be the year of wimax so there will be a great need for a community where every one can talk about wimax connectivity problems and get help with troubleshooting wimax related issues. Once Nokia launched their first wimax enabled phone which is due to be launched in January next year we will launch a mobile wimax forum within the new wimax broadband forum which will take care of mobile wimax related problems if there will be any. |
