Alvin L. Dischler was Vice President of May Department Stores. Dischler has been an established force in the business world and has owned and operated a number of small and large businesses throughout Los Angeles including office buildings and industrial parks. Alvin served on the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles’ Western Region Board, on the Board of University Synagogue in Brentwood/Los Angeles and was Treasurer and President of Adat Shalom Synagogue in Los Angeles, California.
