Bibby Financial Services Enhances Export Finance Offering
Publish Date : 12/17/2007 8:21:00 AM   Source : World News Onlypunjab.com

Bibby Financial Services in the United States and Canada has recently become a member of the International Factors Group, along with five other BFS sister companies from the United Kingdom, Canada, Poland, the Czech Republic and India.

This greatly enhances our service offering for financing export receivables,” as Ian Varley, CEO of Bibby Financial Services (California) states. “Not only can we utilize the global network of Bibby Financial Services but also the fellow members of the International Factors Group represented in over 50 countries.” Bibby Financial Services have been one of the few providers of working capital to small to medium sized businesses that have had the overseas presence to provide an effective export receivables finance service. This commitment to work with exporting businesses remains and through membership of the International Factors Group the service will be more comprehensive.

“Not only does this help our exporting clients, but with our expanding network of factoring businesses throughout the United States we can offer fellow members an effective service for their clients importing into the United States,” said Stewart Chesters, Bibby Financial Services’s COO in North America. Bibby Financial Services has doubled its clients and volumes in 2007 over 2006 and expects similar strong growth levels in 2008. Bibby has an ever expanding regional presence with client service centers in Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Nashville, Phoenix, Toronto and West Palm Beach.

The International Factors Group (IFG) was founded in 1963 as the first international association of factoring companies. The original mission of IFG was to help factoring companies to conduct cross-border business acting as correspondents for each other. This is still the core activity of IFG today. In 2002, IFG was recognized as the representative Trade Association for the Factoring and the Asset Based Finance Industry, with an important focus on Education and Events, Industry Information and regular News and Newsletters. IFG today is represented in more than 50 countries by more than 100 members. For more information, please call 32/2/772-6969, or email at info@ifgroup.com.
