Public Health Service Bureau Changes Name to Ramsell Public Health Rx and Expands Offering with Introduction of New Pharmacy Benefit Management Solution
Publish Date : 2/19/2008 8:16:00 AM Source : Health News Onlypunjab.com
Public Health Service Bureau today announced that the company has changed its name to Ramsell Public Health Rx to reflect its continued growth, and expansion to providing Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) solutions for the public health sector. With the introduction of its new PBM Solution, Ramsell Public Health Rx will now offer a full suite of administration and information management services designed specifically to meet the needs of public health programs. Ramsell Public Health Rx has worked in the public health sector for more than 20 years and has a wide array of experience with public health programs, such as AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAP) and State Pharmacy Assistance Programs (SPAP), at the city and state level.
The new Ramsell Public Health Rx PBM Solution can be provided as a comprehensive package or as individual components for specific service needs, allowing public health programs the opportunity to customize and configure the system for their requirements. Services included in the PBM Solution include enrollment and eligibility, data management and reports, formulary management, and claims processing among others. The Ramsell Public Health Rx PBM Solution offers multiple benefits, including data management systems that provide real-time access to data and reports that can be used for program trending and forecasting. Trending and forecasting is particularly important because it can help public health programs maximize funding to provide care for more people.
“Our roots in public health allow us to understand the needs of the public health sector and the mindset of public health administrators,” said Sophia Byndloss, President of Ramsell Public Health Rx. “We designed this PBM Solution to reflect our own principles, and are proud that the public health sector can use these services to improve the lives of people that rely on its programs, maximize the value of each benefit dollar, and improve the efficiency of health care services.”
“Ramsell Public Health Rx administers public health programs including the AIDS Drug Assistance Programs in California and Washington State, and State Pharmacy Assistance Programs in Colorado and Texas,” said Tim Murrill, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing. “This experience makes us uniquely qualified to understand how to best negotiate the stringent reporting requirements of public health programs and save administrative costs so that funding can be channeled back to provide more care for more people.”
