Micronetics Expands into the Commercial Satellite Based In-Flight Broadband Market

Micronetics, Inc. (NASDAQ:NOIZ) announced today that it has received a development order for integrated microwave subsystems from a leading antenna manufacturer. These highly integrated microwave subsystems will be used for satellite based broadband connectivity on commercial airlines. The pre-production units are scheduled to be delivered in the current quarter (Q4’ FY08) for use in qualification testing and field trials.
David Robbins, President & CEO of Micronetics, stated, "This order is an endorsement that our satellite microwave subsystem technology, which has been predominantly used for in-flight live TV, is now expanding into the commercial in-flight broadband connectivity marketplace."
