Avago Technologies today announced several next generation technology demonstrations for OFC/NFOEC 2008. Avago will offer three live technology demonstrations showing the latest in high-speed data throughput at its booth #2439, Hall D, during the Optical Fiber Conference which will take place at the San Diego Convention Center from Feb. 26-28.
Demonstrations will include:
40G throughput based on QSFP architecture. The demonstration will show Z-axis pluggable technology from the world’s parallel optics leader.
100G performance leverages Avago’s parallel optics expertise, internal 10 G VCSEL array and ICs. Link aggregation to Avago’s SFP+ will also be demonstrated with live data traffic through Arastra's 7124S, 24-port 10 GbE switch.
17G Fibre Channel demonstration that doubles current data speeds. Demonstration will use Avago’s internal VCSEL and embedded SERDES technologies.
