Of the Top 100 list, Bill Carlino, Editor-in-Chief of Accounting Today, says "The general accountants who performed a variety of traditional client services are being usurped by specialists in booming niches such as forensics, litigation support, valuation, cost segregation, IT consulting, and, of course, financial planning … specialists have elevated themselves to positions of influence."

Of Cieslak, in particular, he said "A renowned expert on technology, Cieslak continues to speak on IT trends and how they impact the profession."

This is the fourth time and third consecutive year Cieslak has been included in the Top 100 list. "As an IT consulting specialist, it's an honor to be included with such a fine group of professionals," said Cieslak. "The rumor that I told Bill Carlino that I would hack his computer if he didn't include me on the list is completely false!"
