Array Networks Inc., a leading provider of optimized and secure universal access, today announced that it has achieved certification within the RSA Secured® Partner Program. Array originally joined the RSA Secured Partner Program in 2002 and, at that time, certified interoperability between its SPX SSL VPN solutions and RSA SecurID® technology. This new certification ensures technical interoperability between Array SPX SSL VPN solutions and the current version of the RSA SecurID solution, developed by RSA, The Security Division of EMC (NYSE:EMC).
The technical interoperability between Array SPX and RSA SecurID technology is designed to increase security for joint customers of Array and RSA and provide faster, more secure delivery of any application to authorized users anytime and anywhere. This new technical interoperability enhances Array’s AAA (Authentication, Authorization & Accounting) capabilities. For example, Array SPX supports 256 virtual sites per system and each site can now be enabled with a separate RSA SecurID two-factor authentication system.
“We are very pleased to achieve certification through the RSA Secured Partner Program with the latest version of RSA SecurID technology,” said Sunil Cherian, Vice President of Product Marketing at Array Networks. “This certification provides added assurance to our customers that the solutions they are deploying are certified as technically interoperable with industry-leading solutions like RSA SecurID technology, helping them achieve faster time to deployment and lower overall cost of ownership.”
Array Networks builds secure access and application acceleration systems with the world's highest level of performance and integrated functionality. The SPX Series Universal Access Controllers combine VPN and NAC functionality and lead the industry in performance and capacity. SPX solutions support remote and local users over both fixed and wireless networks, and multiple communities of interest on a single platform. The solution is the ideal choice for organizations looking for productivity while maintaining stringent security.
The RSA SecurID solution is as simple to use as entering a password, but significantly more secure. Used in conjunction with RSA® Authentication Manager software, an RSA SecurID authenticator is engineered to function like an ATM card for a company network, requiring users to identify themselves with two unique factors — something they know (a password or PIN), and something they have (such as an RSA SecurID hardware authenticator in the form of a token) — before they are granted access to secure business information.
“As the business world evolves, an effective strategy to protect identities and digital assets is essential to the growth and success of an organization. Companies must feel confident that vital information and applications remain secure, both inside and outside their operations,” said D.J. Long, Senior Director, Corporate Development at RSA. “The RSA Secured technology partnership between Array and RSA is designed to help end users efficiently and cost-effectively manage the digital identities of diverse user bases – including employees, partners and customers.”
