Intcomex, Inc. announced the appointment of Isaac Menasce as General Manager of its Miami operations.

Mr. Menasce, 56, will be responsible for Intcomex Miami operations, including sales, purchasing, product management, marketing and warehouse / distribution for all export business and Miami exporters. Mr. Menasce will report directly to Michael Shalom, President of Intcomex.

Prior to joining Intcomex, Mr. Menasce held senior-level positions with several leading technology distribution companies serving the Latin American markets, most recently as Vice President of Business Development for ScanSource from 2002 until December 2007. He previously held the positions of President of Unisoft International; Vice President of Product and Marketing at Merisel Latin America; President of CHS Latin America; and Vice President for the northern area of Latin America at Tech Data.

In addition to daily oversight, Isaac’s responsibilities will include new business development for the Miami operations focused on growing the overall customer base.”
