New Technology Recognized as a Panacea For Bed Bug, Flea, and Lice Infestations in Hotels, Motels, Dwellings, and for Animal Health Related Issues
Publish Date : 11/1/2007 9:31:00 AM   Source : Animals and Nature News Onlypunjab.com

Relief has finally arrived… announced Dave Glassel, President and CEO of CedarCide Industries Inc., a Texas Corporation specializing in the formulation of Biosolutions for insect control . Furthermore, said Mr. Glassel, …we receive significant call volume daily from desperate home and pet owners… and motel-hotel managers, frantically searching for a bonafide treatment to counter what they perceive as epidemic levels of flea and bed bug infestations.

CedarCide Industries is pleased to announce the availability of its new, cedar oil formulation, BEST YET, an eradication and abatement program for flea, tick, mite and bed bug control. It is also effective in the treatment of children's head lice, goat lice and other farm animals.

Production levels have recently been increased to accommodate growing customer demand created by this formidable insect assault.

According to leading entomologists, the fleas, ticks, and bed bugs in North America have grown immune to chemical pesticide treatments promoted by local, and national, exterminators. In addition, a growing number of university and independent researchers publicly warn against excessive use of Pyrethroid-based products for consumer use. "We are paying a heavy price for the continued use of carcinogenic, and estrogen-mirroring substances," that have been linked to breast cancer and autism…and are the same toxins that have led to our diminishing honey bee population, quoted Dr. Ben Oldag, agricultural radio talk show host, and senior entomologist at the CedarCide Industries research laboratory.

We actually invented BEST YET for our troops in Iraq... Glassel stated in a recent interview. We participated in a federally-funded research program initiated by the Department of Army, and administered by the USDA. They were seeking BIO-Products, as replacements for the harmful chemical formulations currently used in insect control. The Army specifically sought a natural product to combat Desert Sand Flea infestations plaguing our Iraqi-deployed personnel, and…. Mr. Glassel continued, for which chemical-based products were either ineffective, or caused skin disorders and blurred vision among our troops. In comparison to other Biosolutions, BEST YET was recognized as the overall first choice, determined by Iowa State University scientists' responsible for the USDA's final product analysis. Emperical data created suggests mortality rates far in excess of chemical formulations used as bench marks in the testing protocol.

Fleas have been linked to various infectious diseases for centuries. The most notable, of course, is Bubonic Plague, or Black Death, that decimated much of Western Europe's population in the 14th through 16th centuries. Ironically, the same plague has reappeared in hotspots worldwide. And, Americans are not immune.

Other diseases related to the Bubonic strain, and spread by flea-infected rodents, including the deadly Hantavirus, is prevalent in the Southwest United States. Humans can also contract the disease through airborne molecules of urine and fecal droppings from a live, infected rodent, and from its decaying corpse.

Like the durable Flea, bed bugs, too, have proven resilient to chemical treatment, and very difficult to control. The recent, explosive growth of bed bugs is in no small part due to the increase in global travel and in undocumented immigrants". Such growth has led to severe hotel-motel, and high-occupancy apartment complex infestations. There have even been reports here in the U.S. of residents forced to evacuate their home due to severe flea and bed bug infestations.

BEST YET is needed as much here in North America, as it is in the Middle East, said Dr. Oldag. Flea, tick, bed bug, lice and scorpion infestations appear to be the largest in recent history, which is not surprising considering that each parasite can lay up to 500 eggs in its lifetime. Furthermore, their eggs often lay dormant for several years until ideal conditions prevail to subsequently trigger massive infestations.

Regular use of BEST YET will replace the need for SPOT DROP flea treatments for domestic pets. Recent research has strongly decried the results of the active ingredients in such treatments. And, as a carcinogenic, are often more harmful (if not fatal) to pets than the parasite they seek to eliminate, said Dr. Oldag. The use of spot drop agendas suggest a 25% reduction in the life span of those treated with such products. (See following LINK for related data) http://www.apnm.org/publications/resources/fleachemfin.pdf

Compared to harmful chemical treatments, CedarCide Industries BEST YET provides instant death to fleas, ticks, mites and bed bugs, with a mortality rate that approaches 100% within seconds, by causing an immediate, systemic metabolic reaction that triggers a suffocation response in such parasites.

Chemical-based flea treatments utilize water, or petroleum distillates, as a carrier for their active ingredients, most often Permethrins, or other formulations using primitive, nerve gas byproducts, commonly referred to as Pyrethroids.

CedarCide Industries BEST YET formulation combines its proprietary cedar oil blend of Texas Red Cedar (juniperus virginiana), and a carrier created from liquefied quartz. Working in concert, these two ingredients create a new molecule that has superior penetration abilities, and provides instant kill to fleas, ticks, mites and bed bugs.

BEST YET provides prompt relief for flea, tick and bed bug infestations, even in heavily populated areas in which exterminator applied treatments have failed. Family pets, including dogs and cats living outdoors, will generally find relief from a single application.

Homeowners can safely, and conveniently, apply BEST YET using a hand held trigger, or compression sprayers, non-thermal foggers, or via soaking techniques. Otherwise, the homeowner may purchase BEST YET and request application by his/her exterminator, landscaper, yard maintenance personnel, or handyman.

BEST YET is considered a minimum risk pesticide, and exempt from registration by the EPA, and DOES NOT require an applicators license. This product can be applied to furniture, carpets, hardwood floors or other surface types. There has been no evidence of noticeable staining, or undesirable residue, created with such treatment. BEST YET can be safely applied in-home, on people, including children and the elderly, domestic pets, including newborn kittens and puppies, farm animals, and other, warm blooded animal species. BEST YET SHOULD NOT BE APPLIED TO PLANT LIFE.
