The American Clean Skies Foundation (ACSF), an organization formed to advocate the use of clean-burning natural gas and encourage the conservation and efficient use of all types of energy, has launched a new website destined to become the go-to information source for energy information.
Denise Bode, CEO of ACSF, invited all who are interested in seeing America move toward a secure, prosperous and environmentally sustainable energy future to visit the website and participate in the dialogue. “Our website will provide the facts and dispel the myths about a fuel that can take us to a clean, secure, scalable, affordable energy policy for America. That fuel is natural gas,” said Bode. “We want to begin a dialogue with policy-makers, media and the general public on the best way to get America off foreign oil, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, make energy use more efficient and think out of the box to find solutions for our energy future.”
Bode continued, “We are at a critical juncture in how we fuel our economy and sustain our world and the public is engaged in this debate like never before. As these decisions are being made, ACSF was formed as a think tank to provide the latest facts focused on natural gas, clean energy and efficiency.”
The Clean Skies website provides a wealth of knowledge on natural gas, clean energy and clean vehicles, among other energy topics. State profiles allow visitors to find an overview of each states use of natural gas including consumption, prices, reserves and supply. Another section teaches the benefits of owning a natural gas vehicle that can be fueled right in the owners’ garage for much less than a gasoline powered vehicle.
“We hope that visitors to the website will be excited about the wealth of information provided and that they will feel passionate enough to become engaged in the debate about the direction of energy policy in the United States. We will continue to educate and remain a vital, relevant source of information by seeking out the latest facts, figures and ideas. We will also provide our commentary on why those ideas are important, why they matter,” concluded Bode.
