Advanced Diamond Technologies, Inc. (ADT), the world leader in developing and applying diamond films for industrial, electronic, and mechanical applications, announces today the election of Dennis Roberson to its Board of Directors.
Dennis Roberson is Vice Provost and Research Professor in computer science at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Previously, he was EVP and CTO at Motorola. His extensive corporate career includes major business and technology responsibilities at IBM, DEC (now part of HP), AT&T, and NCR.
“We are pleased to welcome Dennis to our Board of Directors. His expertise and insights with technology-based ventures will allow ADT to grow to the next level,” said ADT president Neil Kane. “Dennis’ strong technological and business development background, particularly in the area of radio frequency (RF) devices as we develop RF front ends made out of diamond, makes him an ideal complement to our Board.”
Roberson is also a member of the board of directors for several technology-based companies, including four in the telecommunications industry.
Roberson joins other ADT board members Neil Kane; Robert Geras, president, LaSalle Investments; John Regan, senior director, Illinois Ventures; and Jeffrey Niew, chief operating officer, Knowles Electronics.
