LA INC. The Convention and Visitors Bureau today announced the election of two new members to its governing Board of Directors. Harris Chan, general manager of The Century Plaza Hotel & Spa, and Larkin Arnold, Esq., attorney, recording executive and artist manager, were elected by the Board of Directors and will begin serving their terms effective immediately. Chan and Arnold will serve the balance of the fiscal year 2004-05 and for a one-year term commencing July 1, 2005, through June 30, 2006.
"Both Mr. Chan and Mr. Arnold bring a wealth of leadership and personal achievement to the LA INC. Board," said Irene Hirano, Chairman of LA INC.'s Board. "Their skills and energy will play a lead role in governing the Bureau and the effectiveness of its public and private partnerships for years to come."
